EngCal is an independent online calculator and technical-guide website for electrical, energy, electronics, and power-system calculations. It is designed for students, technicians, electricians, designers, and engineers who want a fast estimate together with enough context to understand what the result means.
Calculator pages show the formula, units, assumptions, worked examples, limitations, and related checks where those details are relevant. EngCal uses simplified planning methods when a full design would require project-specific data, proprietary equipment curves, or a locally adopted electrical code.
How calculators are developed

Priority calculator pages identify their technical basis and most recent content-update date. A cited standard is a reference for the design topic; it does not mean that EngCal reproduces the complete standard or certifies compliance.
Articles identify their author in the blog. Professional credentials and external profiles should be published only when they can be verified. EngCal does not label a calculator as professionally reviewed unless a named reviewer has actually completed that review.
Limitations and safe use
EngCal results are for education, comparison, and early planning. They are not construction drawings, code approval, product certification, or a substitute for a licensed professional where one is required.
